hmm

The instructions link only links to the main website, good way to get hits! but doesnt help with the game. Also didnt get the point of the whole thing, maybe i have to watch arrogancy or something. It looks promising all-in-all, but i cant make up my mind that quickly.

Would that be the instructions link that tells you the basic game mechanics or the faq that tells you detailed game mechanics and gives a complete walkthrough of the game? Both of which link to my site as that's the easiest way to update and add to them.

I actually liked it, for what it was. First of all, the music selection was up to par, and I like not having to wait a long time for download, but i also hate music loops (particularly when its a song you know, and your waiting for it to continue but its just looping, i dont know that just fucks with my nerves or something.)

Anyway, the art is superb, there was pics from the "making of" ?? You just sat down in your MSpaint or whatever and busted out shit like that? Goddamn! Move to japan or something! (Or come work for me >;D) Also the making of the 3d ship model.

It was pretty trippy, for the fact that it was some chick anime style...

People are saying that it is a repost of something old, that would explain alot I guess, if it is, id rather compliment the original creator and find out what he/she is working on right now, but if it was the poster... then ok, i dont doubt that its the poster because in his profile he is smoking a joint...

I dont care, i liked this little interactive story. I wish tho, that it was more like anime and less like that Eva Dating Sim RPG (*shudder).

Spindle reminds me of my dad, and looks like that Family Guy guy or whatever...
also Spindle is this +creation Necromancer hold item on this MMORPG that I play. (offtopic, but..)

Defining moment is definately talking shit to that cop or whatever, rofl, that was great. The guns are awesome too, just like in fucking Devil May Cry .. (shoot 2 ppl at once, makes you float in the air a little).

However, there is one reason that I ABSOLUTELY cannot play these fucking double dragon/streets of rage/final fight games.. and that is , there is only one combo.. two.. max. Doing the same exact combo on every fucking opponent, ok that drives me mad just thinking about it, in this game you have to do the same exact combo to the same person a couple of times before they die... I just cant do it, im sorry.

When there is no enemies on the screen, right click->play gets you to the next screen, and skips the repetative fighting.

I LOVE the style of it tho, the aformentioned guns, the way he does that jump kick, the enemies(the ol buccaneer is drinkin da firebreather, har har, )... Also the tall guys that stun you with their punches, thats fucking awesome ( even though it makes it alot harder).

All in all, quality work, dont make the guns stronger, put in different guns for variety. I enjoy the rapid punching, everything is good, but variety is lacking (same way it did in all those old console beatemups). I just cant play it, I can only take it so far... and thats not very far at all .

Actually, there are several combos to choose from. If you had read my intro, or played the practice mode, you would've seen em! It's a shame you didn't... they're pretty cool IMHO. 1010011010

Rofl, if you played the old game Budokan as intensively as I did back in the day, or any day, you probably thought this game was too easy.

But I love the way its pieced together, iv never seen anything like it, and probably never will.

Suggestions?

I would say tone down the ingredient spawn rate, I found myself standing around stunning poisoning every opponent, every round. Thats not very interesting. (Also, when I get a ring out, i still knock them out just to show that I let the computer win.. rofl)
Speaking of which, there is no difficulty setting? No secret character skins? No secrets at all? ( i beat the game like 10 times and didnt get a password once)

Tone down the money/exp per win, instead make it so everytime you get a tko without losing once or nail some combo, you get extra points stuff like that.

Next step would be, giving each character unique combos heh. The story and artwork is nice, it looks finished, but the fighting system, and the "shop" system needs to be fleshed out, and more complex.

Overall, I really liked the original and I think the author outdid himself with this version, but can he do it again in v3??? HMM! I suggest playing that Drone Combat flash game and make it more like that...

Great, but unpolished

Flash games have improved so much since the kind that were coming out a couple of years back.

Yet, I cant help to feel like we are yet to see this advance lightyears ahead of what it is now.
Basically, flash has no limit (i am convinced, after seeing ronin and this game). I look forward to playing snes roms in my browser window instead of getting them from kazaa lite and polluting my computer with virii .. heh heh.

Everything about this game is so well done, but its kind of buggy. Also, the death attack is silly, did you guys run out of ideas THAT quickly ? >:9

I was playing it all night regardless, only to find the most obscure last boss ever. It was great.

that wasn't too bad. It had potential. Its better then alot of the flash movies that are coming up at the portal now.

Id go with 5 because it the oddest one there. But 3 sounds ok, a bit too depressing tho. The portal needs some non-prejudiced music. All of the loops are a bit too complex, it could get annoying really fast. Maybe just rearrange the loop that wee have right now, add to it a bit. I think alot of us are used to it now.

This is not a game yet

This is not a game yet, its more of a not even finished beta. How about adding backgrounds, like streets and roads instead of a parking lot. How about having blood on the people and a more realistic simulation of the death and allow combos (like in Carmageddon) when you hit several in a certain period of time (a few seconds) they accumilate and give bonus points. How about adding computer cars and cops. How about adding bikers and vary the pedesterians (old ladys, small children, fat guys etc). I would also like to accelerate beyond 30 mph, so make some roads. I strongly recommend adding a way to crash. The engine is great, but to use such a cool engine for a parking lot drive around game is just a waste. The game needs something, and its EVERYTHING!

I cant say anymore! Those 3 months sure show! Its amazing! Very well done and any minor flaws are over looked because its just so friggin hilarious and well put. As you may know... there is a bug..if you lose to the doombot, the game freezes.
But the doombot fight is rather smooth and the timing is really good so losing is not common.

It was good, but it had some drawbacks.

Well, for one, it wasnt really a game, but thats not a bad thing. It just makes things a little confusing. I dont really see a point in putting in choose your path thingies when there is only 3 or 4 of them in total and there is no point of putting them in if your not gonna add alternate endings and story paths.
The graphics were not ripped and that's cool. The story line was unoriginal and aimed at a parody/joke while it wasnt really funny, so that effect was lost in the process. The ending was interesting, but it suffers from the same problem that many other NG movies do, it was way too sharp. The story is evolved in 3-4 minutes and it all ends in less then 2 seconds.
